DuPont Tyvek is an important invention of DuPont's "miracle of science" in the past two hundred years. It is a high-density polyethylene non-woven material made by flash evaporation technology. It is mainly used in construction, protection, Medical, automotive, clean room, printing, packaging, DuPont protective clothing, horticulture and other fields.
Tyvek Tyvek material is a non-woven fabric made of high-density polyethylene, which is produced by flash evaporation technology to produce continuous ultra-fine interwoven fibers and then bonded by heat and pressure. This unique process makes the Tyvek series of products combine the advantages of paper, film and woven fabrics in one, tough and durable, with strong tear resistance properties. DuPont tyvek protective clothing is the representative product of DuPont medical protective clothing. Its characteristics mainly include: light weight and toughness, waterproof and breathable, high degree of opacity, soft and smooth, not easy to deform, without any adhesive, printable, recycling, etc.
At the same time, Tyvek materials have improved the durability, quality, strength and flexibility of printed matter to a new level, aiming to meet the needs of many special printing applications with cost-effective printing solutions. It is precisely because of its unique physical properties and good printability, as well as the high cost performance of the product itself, that Tyvek has been widely adopted by customers in the printing field.
Tyvek materials are produced in two types of structures, named as Type 10 and Type 14. Type 10 material is a natural texture with smooth and interwoven fibers on the surface of the material, which is tough and similar in stiffness to paper; type 14 is a material that bonds fibers into a striped surface, soft to the touch, like a fabric.
