Flexography: This is the most common method for high-volume Tyvek printing (e.g., envelopes, wristbands, and packaging). Using alcohol- or water-based inks, it offers fast drying times and vibrant colors, with minimal plate pressure to prevent damaging the material.

Monitor Drying Temperatures: Regardless of the printing process used, the drying or curing temperature must never exceed 79°C (175°F). Exceeding this threshold will cause Tyvek to shrink and distort.

Select the Right Inks: Tyvek absorbs virtually no conventional ink solvents. Solvent ratios must be strictly monitored. Avoid inks containing highly aggressive solvents (such as high concentrations of toluene) or strong acids/alkalis, as they can swell or degrade Tyvek's fibrous structure.

Corona Treatment: If you are printing on untreated Tyvek (such as 14-Type soft-structure styles), corona treatment is recommended prior to printing to boost ink adhesion. This raises the surface tension of the material to a target range of 38–42 mN/m.
